This release adds shared-link support, crash reporting, and more control over categories and background tasks, along with safer backup restores and a round of stability fixes.
New features
- Open a novel directly, or search for it, by sharing its URL to LNReader.
- Find crash logs and diagnostic details in Advanced settings to help troubleshoot issues.
- Set category selection to "Always ask" to choose categories each time you add a novel to your library.
- Show optional continue reading buttons on novel covers and list items in the library.
- Cancel any queued or running background task individually from the task queue.
Improvements
- Refined the custom code editor, snippet controls, genre taxonomy screen, and statistics layout.
- Reduced background task memory usage and improved task lifecycle management.
- Backup restores are now non-destructive and preserve existing data where appropriate.
- Updated translations.
Fixes
- Fixed crashes when chapter or novel names are missing.
- Fixed blank or empty-state flashes when opening the chapter drawer and novel screen.
- Fixed bottom navigation icons shifting when switching tabs.
- Fixed text-to-speech handling of dash-only dividers and surrounding quotation marks.
- Fixed newline handling in the code editor and restored the broken preview.
