Faster APK loading with lower memory usage: Reduced loading and first-query overhead when looking up classes, string references, and call relationships.
Faster Smali viewing: Improved both initial and subsequent method disassembly, reducing waits when inspecting methods and following call chains.
Faster repeated resource queries: Parsed resource tables are reused within a dataset, so subsequent lookups by ID, name, or type no longer require reparsing the table.
New compact MCP output: Query, Smali, and APK resource tools now accept compact: true to reduce duplicated content and fit more results within the same response size limit. Requires a client that reads structured results; default output remains compatible.
Improved MCP client compatibility: Fixed missing cache metadata in tool and resource lists under the newer protocol. Server version information now includes the build commit to help identify builds and troubleshoot issues.
More efficient CLI queries: Faster output for large text tables and optimized case-insensitive text searches.
Better compatibility with unusual APKs: Filename handling now matches Android, fixing cases where APKs were incorrectly rejected or DEX and resource entries were resolved under incorrect names.
Improved web experience: Faster APK opening, initial package and class browsing, and loading on return visits.
