First public release of rs-metadata: a profile schema, command-line tool, Python library, and GitHub Action for checking research software metadata.

Validate codemeta.json against the LUMC CodeMeta profile.
Check consistency between CodeMeta, CITATION.cff, and other supported
metadata files.
Get diagnostics that identify the affected file and field and explain
how to fix the problem.
Run validation locally or in GitHub Actions.
Validate offline using bundled schemas and reference vocabularies.
