Envoy 1.1.0 turns the app into a scoreboard for your job hunt. The ghost engine already knew how much of the market is noise. Now it keeps score.
The Scoreboard
A new view, and the first thing you see when Envoy opens: ghosts dodged, hours saved, day streak, and ghosts surfaced. Every dodge is listed with the evidence that was on screen when you passed on it, so the headline number is backed by proof, not vibes. Hours saved shows its math right on the board: dodges times your own time-per-application estimate, which you can adjust in place. Screened and sent counts appear only as context. The board scores the job market. It does not grade you.
Response tracking
Your submitted applications are listed on the board with a dropdown to log what came back: got a reply, interview, offer, or rejected. Once you have sent five, Envoy shows your application-to-response rate. Rejections count as responses, because the stat measures whether anyone answered at all. That silence is the market, not you.
Find Jobs feeds the board
Every scored search result is recorded locally as a sighting (one per posting per day, so re-running a search inflates nothing). Opening a posting records a view. A new SKIP button on each result records the pass and clears the row, and skipping a flagged posting puts a ghost dodged on your board. Cancelling at the submit gate now counts too: walking away from a bad posting is a decision, not a failure, and it shows in yellow instead of error red.
All of this lives in a local ledger inside envoy.db on your machine. Nothing leaves your PC. The day-by-day sighting history is also the groundwork the repost-frequency signal has been waiting on since 1.0.1.
The app talks like a person now
Every screen was rewritten in plain English. Mission Briefing is now just Apply, the Data Vault is the Vault, Browser Nexus is Browser, LLM Nexus is AI Models, and Codename is Full Name. The emoji, the dingbats, and the em dashes are gone from buttons and status messages. "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" is now "Application submitted." The Browser page also dropped its fingerprint-evasion sales pitch and now just explains how the DevTools connection works, which is what the app actually does and has always done.
Also new
- In-app update check. Once per launch, Envoy asks the public GitHub releases API whether a newer version exists and shows an UPDATE link in the title bar when one does. Nothing is sent beyond the request itself; set "CheckForUpdates": false in settings.json to turn it off.
- The CAPTCHA prompt no longer tells you to click a button that does not exist.
Upgrading
Install over your existing copy. The local database migrates itself on first launch (additive only; your profiles, applications, and settings are untouched).
