so is it normal for the device model to show in settings vphone? and also is it normal for first device boot to take long after cfw_install_exp to take a long time? |

yes, it shows vphone-1337 in the serial, as this is the fake serial we set in the devicetree. also yes, specifically for 26.4+ I observed this issue, that on the first boot it sometimes gets stuck, but a second boot solves this issue. |

true, there are many ways that apps can determine that they are running in a vm, the important thing is to understand if they do and if so which way are they using for the specific app in question. |

tested latest release and seems the problem still happens also its so broken that the apple maps app wont even load the map where as regular jb version does for whatever reason |

not currently, although I think with the implementation of vcam that would probably be fairly easy with the use of Claude, but I don't have a camera to test that on (using a mac mini), and there are other features I am more interested in :) |

any way to add the implementation of displaying a photo file instead of a

Depending on how they check.
If they check the hv_vmm_present sysctl directly or is using one of the libraries that we didn’t repatch, or if they check the device model, then yes, it will look to the app like a real device.
If in some other way, then probably not.
Best thing to do is trying it yourself 😁
