vphone-cli 2.0.6

This release fixes VM cloning and boot-state preservation. It follows 2.0.5.

Get started

Download the notarized vphone-launchpad 2.0.6, unzip it, and replace the previous app. In Core Bundle, choose Download and Install to install VPhone.bundle 2.0.6. The bundle archive is also available for CLI use.

Fixes

• vm clone now copies the complete VM folder, using APFS copy-on-write when available and a regular folder copy otherwise. It preserves the machine identifier, NVRAM, SEP storage, SHSH blobs, and other boot state. Clones keep the same device identity; change it manually if needed.
• VM launch now opens an existing NVRAM file instead of recreating and overwriting it. This preserves boot tickets across launches. A new NVRAM file is created only when none exists.
• Launchpad's Clone sheet now accepts its suggested clone name immediately. The outdated warning about resetting the clone's identity has been removed.
• The Launchpad console sheet has clearer spacing and controls.
• CFW installation no longer mistakes its own open Disk.img descriptor for a running VM. The installer still refuses the disk when another process holds it.

Existing 2.0.6 installs

If you installed VPhone.bundle 2.0.6 before this CFW fix, remove that Core Bundle version in Launchpad and download 2.0.6 again. The version number did not change, so Launchpad will not offer the replacement as an update. Existing notarized Launchpad downloads are unchanged.
