Highlights

Linear is now a first-class source in kane-cli: paste a Linear issue or document URL and kane-cli fetches the full context directly, no manual copying needed. Variable-named targets ({{variable}}) now survive replay correctly, with automatic re-probing when the target element needs to be re-found. Mobile sessions also get smarter defaults and new config knobs for permissions and alerts.

Linear as a native source

  • Paste a Linear URL and kane-cli does the rest — Linear issues and documents are now recognized sources. kane-cli fetches the issue body, comments, attachments, and images directly via the Linear API rather than screen-scraping.
  • Workspace login pages are rejected clearly — if a Linear URL points to a gated workspace page that requires a login, kane-cli refuses loudly with a plain error message instead of silently scraping an empty shell.
  • Attachments and images are extracted from issue bodies — inline images and linked media in Linear issues are pulled out and made available to the run, not silently dropped.

Variable targets that actually survive replay

  • ${variable} targets are now recognized — action targets written as ${variable} are treated the same as {{variable}} — both forms work end to end.
  • Variable-named targets are re-probed at replay — if an action targets a variable element, kane-cli re-resolves and re-probes the element at replay time via autoheal instead of failing on a stale reference.
  • The model is prompted to flag variable-target actions — the queue prompt is stronger, so variable-targeted steps are correctly identified and handled through vision-fallback paths when needed.

Double- and triple-click support

  • click_count is supported end to end — actions can now specify double-click or triple-click, and the count is carried correctly through recording, migration, and replay.

Mobile sessions with smarter defaults

  • Android and iOS permissions are accepted by default — Android runtime permission dialogs and iOS alerts are granted automatically in new sessions, so automation does not stall waiting for a permission pop-up.
  • New Mobile config knobs in /config — session permission and alert behavior can be configured explicitly under the Mobile section, and those settings are forwarded correctly when building device configs from the TUI.

Navigation and interaction polish

  • Expanding a submenu lands the cursor on the first item — opening a submenu now positions the cursor on the first child entry instead of leaving it on the parent.
  • Android emulator resolution is more reliable — the emulator binary is now resolved from the SDK, verified with -version, rather than relying on PATH alone.
