Voici les instructions pour installer l'application à partir du dossier .tar :

L'application comporte une version du logiciel R dans un dossier zippé. Elle ne fonctionnera que sur un ordinateur Windows. Pour exécuter l'application, vous devrez :

1. Télécharger « caribou_demography_app.tar » sur votre ordinateur en cliquant ici.

2. Décompressez le fichier en faisant un clic droit sur « caribou_demography_app.tar » et en sélectionnant « Extract all ».

3. Cliquez sur « Parcourir » dans la boîte de dialogue qui s'ouvre pour choisir un emplacement où stocker les fichiers de l'application, puis cliquez sur « Extraire ».

4. Allez à l'endroit où vous avez extrait les fichiers et double-cliquez sur le fichier «run.bat ».

Une fenêtre d'invite de commande Windows s'ouvre alors. Laissez cette fenêtre ouverte et attendez.

L'application devrait s'ouvrir dans votre navigateur Internet par défaut en quelques minutes.

La fenêtre d'invite de commande Windows se fermera lorsque vous fermerez la fenêtre du navigateur.

Here are the instructions for installing the app from the “.tar folder”:

The app is packaged with a version of the R software in a zipped folder. This will only work on a Windows computer. To run the app you will need to:

1. Download the “caribou_demography_app.tar” from here to your computer.

2. Unzip the file by right clicking on “caribou_demography_app.tar” and selecting "Extract all".

3. Click "Browse" in the dialog box that opens to choose a location to store the app files, then click "Extract".

4. Go to the location where you extracted the files and double click on the file "run.bat".

This will open a Windows command prompt window. Just leave that window open and wait, the app will open in your default internet browser within a few minutes.

The Windows command prompt window will close when you close the browser window.
