Release list
KeaClip 0.4.2
Copy clip. When your clip is ready, one button copies the clip itself. Press Ctrl+V in Discord, a chat or an email and it's attached, with no hunting through folders. You can also drag the finished clip straight out of KeaClip. In the Library, More actions → Copy file does the same for anything you've saved.
Also fixed: opening several links at once while KeaClip starts no longer loses one.
Already have KeaClip? It offers this update by itself (or choose Settings, About, Check for updates).
New here? Download KeaClip-0.4.2-Setup.exe below and run it. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" because KeaClip isn't code-signed yet: click More info, then Run anyway. Prefer no installer? Use KeaClip-0.4.2-win-x64.zip, unzip it and run KeaClip.exe.
Checksums are in SHA256SUMS.txt. Found a problem? Use Feedback in the app, open an issue, or email keaclip@proton.me.
Code signing policy: releases are unsigned for now; KeaClip will reapply for free signing from SignPath.io (certificate by SignPath Foundation) once it's better known.
KeaClip 0.4.1
A small update to the first public release.
- Feedback email: choosing Email in the Feedback menu also copies keaclip@proton.me, since many PCs have no email app. There's a Copy the email address item too.
- Safer first setup: FFmpeg now comes from its maker's official GitHub mirror and is checked against the checksum GitHub recorded, the same way yt-dlp and Deno already were.
- History stays quick: if you keep history forever, KeaClip keeps the newest 5,000 records so saving stays fast. Your videos are never touched.

KeaClip 0.4.0
The first public release of KeaClip: a free Windows app to save a video from a link, trim it to the good part and send it.
- Save video or audio from a link, a whole playlist, or just part of a video.
- Trim with a smooth timeline, make a GIF, or pull out the sound.
- Fit for Discord (10 MB), email (25 MB), Nitro Basic or Nitro in one click.
- Your recordings: new game clips from Xbox Game Bar, NVIDIA, AMD and OBS are ready to trim.
- Share with an encrypted file.kiwi link that stops working after a day.
- No ads, no account, no tracking.

The first time it opens, KeaClip downloads its free helper tools (yt-dlp, FFmpeg, Deno) from their official sites.
