Abra Teleport 0.3.0 preview
Pre-release
Pre-release
Internal sandbox CLI and desktop app preview.
- One connection command installs the CLI if needed, then pairs with the laptop.
- Native Linux x64 (static musl) and macOS arm64 binaries included.
- Browser sessions and Codex workspaces travel through Abra; the app needs no provider credentials.
- 15 automated tests pass.
Live tests on September 5, 2026:
- Firecracker: all 12 checks pass over real iroh transport between a laptop and a guest on EC2. Published installer, pairing, discovery, remote control, browser preview, changed cookies and storage returned, workspace/transcript returned, local-edit protection, internal observer in the returned signed snapshot. Synthetic fixtures; no paid model calls or personal credentials.
- Daytona: published installer works without compilation; internal observer produces a signed snapshot. Pairing fails with
transport: timed out; relay TLS connections reset. Browser/workspace transfer cannot proceed on this network.
The Firecracker fixture needed a working DNS resolver configured in its test image. No provider API or SSH is used for Abra transfers; SSH only prepares and checks fixtures.
Installer domain: https://abra.vividh.lol/install.sh (HTTPS verified; fresh install and re-pair tested).
Daytona also resets connections to the custom installer domain. The macOS arm64 desktop preview is unsigned. The desktop artifact includes the domain integration; the original agent archive remains unchanged from the live-tested build.
