Swap1 census: 1,107 Hc4-seed mutations yield no Hc>=5 survivor
#15
Swap-one mutation census: no Hc >= 5 survivor among 1,107 candidates
I completed a deterministic census of all 1,107 canonical legal one-cell swaps generated from the five locally available Kaplan Hc=4 polyhex seeds (11, 13, 15a, 15b, 16 cells). This search is shape mutation / deep-corona work and does not repeat Discussion #4's fixed-witness exchanges.
Pipeline and exact outcome
The repository's unchanged bounded periodic exact-cover gate was run with k_max=8, 6,000,000 work units per shape.
Kaplan's heesch-sat then classified all 845 misses through maxlevel=5.
843 finite outcomes: Hc0=404, Hc1=414, Hc2=25.
2 depth-5 outputs.
Both depth-5 outputs were checked with the challenge's unchanged verifier and the stronger periodic gate (k_max=12, 40,000,000 work units).
The sole verifier-valid output has hc_verified=4, hh_verified=5, 91 placements, digest e54293da56c3581c4b14054f6bb38203b94505d7af8ce47b9b9e544cd4c9a931; the stronger gate constructively proves it tiles periodically: K=8;lattice=(120,30,1).
The other depth-5 output is rejected by the verifier with PATCH_OVERLAP at cell (2,4). Extending that shape with heesch-sat -maxlevel 6 resolves it to a verifier-valid ordinary Hc=4, Hh=4 witness (63 placements, digest fdb7b9acc85977c73b2d77a49047873e1dab745ab9f326e1d0d18e88e91045ce).
Therefore this complete swap-one neighbourhood contains no Hc >= 5 candidate. A periodic-gate miss is never treated as a non-tiler proof, and no score improvement is claimed.
The seed coordinates and corona-search machinery are from Craig S. Kaplan's published dataset and isohedral/heesch-sat. Candidate generation, periodic filtering, complete swap census, and frozen-verifier checks are new work here. Public results in Discussions #4, #5, #9, and #12 were used to avoid already exhausted mechanisms, not as candidate inputs.
