A block explorer for Doichain in Le-Space branding, serving German and English per visitor.

Forked from Doichain/explorer, which in turn forks iquidus/explorer 1.7.4. Fifteen commits of our own since the branch point.

Why 1.0.0 and not 1.7.5

The number now belongs to a different project. Continuing from 1.7.4 would say this is Iquidus Explorer a few patches later, and it is not. Upstream's version stays visible in the footer as its own fact, pinned rather than derived — until this release the footer read Iquidus Explorer 1.7.4 with a number taken from our package.json, which would have become a false statement the moment this fork took a version at all.

What this fork adds

Two languages, chosen per visitor. ?lang=de (explicit, and therefore shareable) → cookie → Accept-Language by quality → instance default. A German browser gets German without doing anything. Adding a language means adding one file: drop locale/fr.json next to the others and it appears in the switcher. No template was touched for this — Express merges res.locals after app.locals, so a per-request copy shadows the global one for exactly that response.

Le-Space branding. Deep Space ground, Signal Coral accent, Sync Cyan links, Inter for the interface and JetBrains Mono wherever an identifier is read character by character — hashes, addresses, names. The brand layer loads last, as its own stylesheet, so the Bootswatch base underneath can be replaced wholesale.

German typography. Long compounds no longer break mid-word in the narrow stat cards: hyphens: auto with a declared page language, instead of the overflow-wrap: break-word that was causing the breaks it looked like it should fix.

Link previews. Open Graph and Twitter cards on every page, including name pages, where the card names the name and its status. Card dimensions and alt text are declared, so LinkedIn and Facebook lay out the wide card on the first scrape rather than caching a small one for a week.

Footer. The source repository, the brand's credit line, X instead of the retired bird, and block height, peer count and version as readings in the label face.

News. One item at a time on the front page, dismissible, currently pointing at the Names-On-Chain workshop.

Inherited from the parent fork

Core 31 support, name search through ElectrumX, a name page at /name/<name> with expiry and history, and a share button.
