  • The Creative Suite is now Leathercase. A new name, icon and look: ink, paper and one vermilion stitch. Your homes, stories and the suite/ folders in them stay as they are. On macOS the new app cannot update the old one in place, so 0.30 is downloaded once; on Windows and Linux it updates as before.
  • The Graph replaces the story map. Every character, place, item, faction and event of a story is one network, and the ties between them are the ones you draw: drag from a name's ring to another name and pick a type, a word and a side. Each tie is one line of Graph/Ties.md, plain markdown you can edit anywhere. A tie can look one way and be another, with the Plot grid beat where the truth comes out.
  • The Graph reads the story with graph theory, in plain words: who holds it together, who has most ties, the one tie that is the only link between two groups, the pressure points where someone is on the same side as two who are at odds, the shortest paths between two names. Point at a "!" to read a pressure point.
  • Tabs and templates. Make tabs of the same Graph from Truby's character web, a symbol web, Family, Factions, Mystery or a template of your own: roles, corner values and checks written as facts. Lay a tab out in groups, around one name, on two sides, in four corners or as a matrix, and set its spacing, tie length, centre pull and name scale from the sliders icon on the canvas.
  • Easy to read. A tie's colour is its side, ink or vermilion, and its word is written on the line. A legend on the canvas draws every kind of line, names with no tie sit apart, and only a proposal waiting in the inbox is dashed.
  • Relationships you wrote before under a Relationships heading, or drew on the old map, show as ties with their word. A symbol's note can say what it stands for, under a "Stands for" heading.
  • Agents read and lay out the Graph. A connected agent with Lay out can propose ties, changes to ties, tabs and roles; nothing changes until you accept. A tie you take from an agent is marked until you change it.
  • About Leathercase is a page in Settings on every system.
  • Fixes at a large zoom. Long menus, such as a Plot grid column's, open where they fit and scroll, so their last rows can always be reached. The title bar keeps every button in view when the window is narrow: the words beside the source, the reading time and the mate give way to their marks.
  • Connecting an agent again replaces its token, as the Connect page says, instead of making a second agent (claude-desktop-2) that its app never uses.
  • On Linux, Connect for Claude Desktop shows the bundle in your file manager and says how to install it from Claude Desktop, instead of opening it in an archive tool.
  • Counts that agree. The character sheet and How this story is read say "written scenes", since the Plot grid's count also includes the planned ones.
  • Smaller fixes. On a day you only log sentences for revision, the Desk says so. Start over on the sample starts Start here's steps again. The sample no longer offers its Writer/ cards folder as a story. Settings keeps its first heading at a large zoom, the purge dialog no longer doubles a slash, and the inbox's tags table keeps its buttons on one line.
