  npm start, no manual editing needed. Automatically skipped in
  non-interactive environments (CI, scripts).
• Preflight checks for Git and npm, with clear error messages if either
  is missing, instead of a confusing failure mid-clone.

• Repository clone is now shallow (--depth=1) for a faster init.
• Failed clones or installs now clean up after themselves — no more
  half-initialized project folders left on disk.
