Unzip, run install.sh (Linux) or install.ps1 (Windows), then launch
BanjoRecompiled.

You need your own copy of Banjo-Kazooie

No game data is included in these archives or downloaded by anything in them.
BanjoRecompiled asks where your ROM is on first run. Only the North American
v1.0 (NTSC-U rev0) release works — if yours is rejected, run
./install.sh --check-rom <your-rom> and it will tell you why.

Status

Two players in a world, shared progress, and free-roam are played and work.
Enemies, bosses, projectiles, revive, carrying and party modes are built and
tested off-game but barely played — reports on those are the point of this build.

BanjoCoop is GPL-3.0-or-later. The bundles include BanjoRecompiled (GPL-3,
unmodified); see NOTICE.md. Unaffiliated with Nintendo, Rare, or BanjoRecomp.
