RobocodeJs is now usable from LLM clients over the Model Context Protocol.

Features

  • New in-process MCP server at POST /api/mcp (Streamable HTTP) exposing 18 user-scoped tools: app list/get/create/set-source/rename/compile/reboot/delete, arena list/create/delete/status/pause/resume/restart, add/remove app, and recent logs.
  • New API-token bearer credential authenticating MCP requests alongside the existing Google cookie. Mint or rotate a token via POST /api/token (or GET /api/token/new from the browser address bar); tokens are stored only as a hash and shown once, and rotating revokes the old one.
  • Arenas now keep a bounded ring buffer of recent bot console output, backing the recent_logs tool.

  • Added an MCP setup guide at /mcp covering minting a token and connecting a client, with a Claude Code example and the tool list. Reachable by direct URL only, not linked from any nav.
