Official Release - 1.0.0
What's new
Clip library
- Favorites: star any clip and filter the library to just your favorites.
- Rename clips right from the library.
- Search clips by name.
- Select several clips to favorite, export audio from, shrink or delete them together.
- Group by date, by game, or not at all (a dropdown that replaces the "Group by date" checkbox).
- Export audio tracks as WAV: one file per track, in a folder next to the clip. Available from the editor and the clip's ⋯ menu.
Editor
- Privacy blur: drag one or more boxes over names, chat or anything private. You see the blur live in the preview, and it's applied to the export.
- Vertical (9:16) export for Shorts, TikTok and Reels:
- 9:16 crop: drag a 9:16 window over the part to keep.
- 9:16 fit: the whole frame in the middle, with a blurred copy filling the top and bottom.
Saving
- Make it longer: missed the end? Save again within 15 seconds and the second save replaces the first with one longer clip. On by default, can be turned off in Saving.
- Only buffer while a game runs (optional, in Capture): the buffer starts when a game starts and stops a minute after it closes. If you stop it by hand mid-game, it stays stopped until that game closes.
New Storage page
- See how full the drive is and how much space your clips take.
- See usage per game (top 5, expandable to the full list).
- See the biggest clips, with play, show in folder and delete.
- Shrink old clips: re-encode clips older than 7 / 30 / 90 / 180 days to HEVC or H.264 at 1080p and replace them (the originals go to the Recycle Bin).
- Favorites and clips that are already small are skipped.
- It keeps running while you use the rest of the app, and you can stop it at any time.
Other
- Size limit for the buffer is off by default.
- The detected game is now written to the log, to help track down detection problems.
