Summary

  • harden persistent iPhone GPS simulation with startup recovery, a durable Restore GPS queue, crash heartbeat, exact-device targeting, and a five-minute watchdog
  • add device-initiated Wi-Fi pairing guidance, bounded diagnostics, and safer Command-Q behavior
  • add complete English and Russian localization with English as the first-run default and an in-app language switch
  • publish a full English README, screenshot, installation/pairing/troubleshooting/privacy/architecture guides, contribution templates, and CI
  • bump GeoShift to 1.5.0 (build 7)

Safety and verification

  • swift test — 18 tests passed
  • Python worker suite — 16 tests passed
  • release package and installed app pass strict code-sign verification
  • English/Russian resource keys match and both packaged localizations are valid
  • gitleaks found 0 leaks in git history and the full worktree
  • public screenshot and staged files were reviewed for UDIDs, pairing records, IPs, usernames, private paths, credentials, and device metadata

Important status semantics

GeoShift marks Simulation cleared only after the no-reply clear command returns successfully through the trusted iPhone developer channel. It does not claim to read back the physical GPS sensor; the UI and documentation direct users to Maps for that final check.
