TreX AI – New Features & Improvements

TreX has received a major update focused on making the experience smoother, more reliable, and closer to a real desktop application. This version introduces deeper system integration, better control, and improved usability.

One of the biggest improvements is the addition of a system tray icon. TreX now runs quietly in the background and can be controlled directly from the system tray. Users can right-click the TreX icon to access options like exiting the application. This allows TreX to stay out of the way while still being instantly accessible whenever needed.

TreX is now also visible in Windows Search. After installation, users can simply type “TreX” in the Windows search bar and launch it like any other installed application. This makes access faster and gives TreX a more native app experience on Windows.

⚠️ Automatic startup support has been introduced; it is currently kept enabled by default. While the feature is available, it may not work reliably on all systems due to startup timing and system-level constraints. Users can still enable it manually if needed, but keeping it disabled is recommended for now.

The voice system has been significantly improved for stability. TreX now handles startup conditions better, ensuring that speech works more reliably even after system boot. Retry mechanisms and smarter initialization help reduce issues caused by network or audio delays.

The update system has also been refined. TreX can download new versions and replace the old application seamlessly, making it easier to keep the assistant up to date without reinstalling manually.

Overall, this update transforms TreX from a simple script into a more complete desktop assistant with background operation, system-level integration, and a much more polished user experience.
