Option to re-enable deprecated prominent bar style in v4.0.0

Hi,

First of all, thank you for maintaining this amazing framework, I’ve been using LNPopupController for quite a while and it has worked great.

I ran into an issue after upgrading to iOS 26.0. In framework versions prior to 4.0.0, pop bar interactions were disabled on iOS 26. In those versions, I couldn’t tap the buttons or open the content view controller.

After updating to 4.0.0, that issue was resolved, interactions now work correctly. The problem is that the prominent bar style has been deprecated, and for my app I still need to use it to preserve my custom bar design, even though my app supports iOS 26.

Would it be possible to reintroduce or allow enabling the deprecated prominent bar style (perhaps behind a configuration flag or legacy mode)? This would make it easier for developers who rely on that customization to transition smoothly without losing existing UI designs.

How do you create that "tab bar"? Is it a system with bar with background color or a custom bar?

Wait, I see you are using custom popup bar impl. In that case, what you need is already possible. Set the bar to require full width, and set the corner configuration to be 0 px.

No, the app uses a fully opaque UI. Both the UITabBar and navigation bars are configured with solid background colors and configureWithOpaqueBackground() appearances.

It’s the system UITabBar configured in code with custom appearance, not a custom view. Example:

Applying the following code doesn't seem to turn a tab bar into opaque:

Adding UIDesignRequiresCompatibility = true to the Info.plist solved the issue, the tab bar now renders fully opaque and without the floating feature as expected. You were right that my tab bar appearance code alone didn’t remove the new glass design.

Wanted to reach and mention that support for UIDesignRequiresCompatibility is going away in iOS 27, and you will have to switch to the new design soon. Make sure to prepare from now and not find out the hard way when it's late. :)
