A lightweight resource pack that improves visibility by reducing fog — no commands, no behavior packs, achievements stay ON.
Resource pack version 1.0.1 has been statically verified for Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.0 through 26.34 in standard Simple and Fancy graphics. Vibrant Visuals and ray-traced graphics are not currently guaranteed.
This pack changes fog visibility only. It does not change actual block light, gamma, or provide the Night Vision effect. It pairs nicely with x-ray resource packs and works on Realms/servers that allow resource packs.
manifest.jsonbiomes_client.json— points every biome to our fog presetfogs/fullbright.json— bright, low-fog visuals for air/weather/water/lavapack_icon.png
- Cheats OFF / Achievements ON — works without commands, so it’s legit-friendly.
- Multiplayer/Realms friendly — as long as the server/realm allows resource packs.
- Stacks with other packs — use it with x-ray or texture packs; just set the pack order (see below).
⚠️ Note: This pack does not change actual block light, gamma, or provide the Night Vision effect. Caves may still look dark because only fog visibility is changed.
PowerShell is required.
From the repository root, run:
powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File ".\Build-Pack.ps1"From any directory, run:

- Open the generated
.mcpackfrom theBuild/directory. - Let Minecraft import the resource pack.
- Activate it under the world resource-pack settings or Global Resources.

Direct .mcpack importing mainly applies to supported Windows and mobile installations. Console users may need to receive the pack through a Realm or world.
World-only activation
- From the main menu, click Edit on your world.
- Go to Resource Packs → Available → FullBright (Cheats OFF) → Activate.
- In Active, drag FullBright to the top
- Load the world. Done.
Global activation (applies to all worlds)
- Settings → Global Resources → activate FullBright and move it to the top.
Using with X-Ray or other packs
- Activate both packs.
- In Active, put FullBright above your x-ray pack so its fog changes win while x-ray textures still work.
On Realms
- Realm owner: Edit Realm → Resource Packs → upload/activate FullBright.
- (Optional) Enable “require/force pack” so all players use it automatically.
