Post-release review of 7.13.0 found five defects, two of them silent.

  • A quoted placeholder corrupted the value it carried. --model "{model}" with
a model chosen produced --model "'opus'" — the value is shell-escaped, so
quoting it again nests the quotes and the CLI receives a model literally named
    'opus'. No error, wrong model.
  • A repeated placeholder destroyed the command. --model={model},{model} with
nothing chosen left claude,, and the comma became part of the executable name.
Both had one cause: a regex cannot reason about token boundaries. Substitution now
    walks whitespace-separated tokens.
  • The Kanban settings note was wrong three times over. It tried to describe which
dials take effect, and no dial behaves the same on both engines except model:
the API run forwards turns and effort but not mode, the subscription run forwards
mode but not turns or effort, and agent applies only when a session is first
created. The note now states only what holds in every combination, and the matrix
is pinned in the test suite rather than restated in prose.
  • Template spacing outside the placeholder is preserved — an earlier fix squeezed all
whitespace, which rewrites --system "a b".
