First public case in Scientific Animation Workflow: a code-driven explanation of electric-double-layer gating, accompanied by its source and production methods.

The repository homepage introduces the scientific question, shows animated excerpts, and explains specific human review decisions. Source includes the scene, captions, procedural sound synthesis, portable rendering/encoding tools, selected creative briefs, and English/Chinese project introductions.

Watch and download

  • Watch the film
  • edl-gating-v5.mp4: 95,478,277 bytes, 1920×1080, 30 fps, 146.1 s. This is the selected production encode, not a fresh render from the prepared checkout.
  • edl-gating-v5.en.vtt: optional English explanation subtitles. Original component labels remain in Chinese.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt and media.json: identity and format information.

The film is an explanatory visualization of established physics. Geometry, particle motion, fields, and defect paths are illustrative, rather than numerical or experimental device results.

Verification

Local preparation checked a complete timing plan, full procedural score synthesis, short frame rendering/encoding and decoding, repeated frames, late-film stills, and 18 tool checks. Desktop/mobile presentation and English/Chinese switching were inspected. Full-film re-rendering and byte-identical historical reproduction are not claimed.
