LidPush v2.0.0 — Rebuilt Push Engine
Ground-up rewrite with a rebuilt push system, enhanced account security, and hosted sync history.
What's New
Push System
- Rebuilt on git2 (libgit2) — direct push from your machine, no intermediate upload
- Fetches the remote branch head first — commits fast-forward cleanly, so normal updates no longer need a forced push
- Two upload modes:
- Update — safe fast-forward that keeps files that exist only on the repo
- Replace — resets the branch and force-pushes
- Every push runs on a temporary copy — your original folder is never touched
Cleaning & Secret Detection
- Removes
node_modules, build caches, lock files, and OS junk before every push - Scans all text files for GitHub tokens, AWS & Stripe keys, private-key blocks, and generic
API_KEY=patterns - Flagged secrets and the exact file list are shown before anything is sent
Security
- Token stored in Windows Credential Manager and encrypted server-side — never shown in the UI
- Local API runs on a random port with a one-time session secret
- Free OAuth app — only mobile/desktop scopes, no read/write access to your repos' webhooks or actions
Languages
- 5 languages: English, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Chinese
- Full RTL support for Arabic
Database
- Push history moved to a hosted backend — metadata only, no code, no file contents, no credentials
- Extended project analytics will return in a future version
