Joint analysis of serial elastography identifies discordant attenuation and liver stiffness changes
This release matches the analysis and display files prepared for submission to Clinics and Research in Hepatology and Gastroenterology on 31 July 2026.
- The primary directional-support threshold is posterior probability ≥0.60.
- A supported direction was assigned to 275 of 1,377 longitudinal pairs.
- Among supported directions, 136 were discordant (49.5%).
- The mean posterior probability of discordance across all pairs was 49.7%.
- The ≥0.70 analysis remains a high-confidence sensitivity analysis (98 supported; 43 discordant).

No row-level local clinical data, direct identifiers, pseudonymous patient or scan identifiers, free text, exact local dates, credentials or institution- restricted extracts are included.
Current liver stiffness identifies high stiffness at follow-up. Joint changes in attenuation and liver stiffness describe whether the two measurements change together or at different times. Short-interval repeat scans calibrate how much change is required before a direction is supported.
Python 3.11–3.13 is supported. Install and run the release checks with:
