LimeLog 1.17.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Limekana Limekana released this 07 Oct 12:05
c0b42e6

Suite v1.17, "Lighter, and ready to move".

LimeLog starts faster: languages and screens load only when you need them, and the app is smaller. The plate keypad is now free in every theme: tap "Load the bar" next to Add set to stack plates on a barbell lift. You can change your login email from the Sync card.

In this release:

  • Lighter:
    • Locales load lazily (#52) and pages load on demand, with a bundle-size gate (#53).
    • Code-health pass: dead code, console.* stripping, dead keys and CSS (#54).
    • The asset diet adds WebP splashes, right-sized icons and a check:assets gate (#55).
    • R8 code and resource shrinking (#56). The APK goes from 11.3 MB to 4.5 MB, and F-Droid's reproducible-build check was verified in the buildserver image before tagging.
  • Plate keypad in every theme (#41, #57): a "Load the bar" button beside Add set on barbell lifts. The loaded-bar drawing stays with the Cast Iron theme.
  • Change login email from the Sync card (Limekana/limecore#10, #58).
  • Privacy policy link now points at limecore.dev/privacy (#50).

LimeLog 1.16.0

@Limekana Limekana released this 03 Oct 15:35

Suite v1.16, "Sync you can trust".

Sync you can trust: a workout is dated when you save it, a discarded workout stays gone on every device, and recovery restores sets in lift order. LAST now shows only sets you finished, and ticking a set with empty reps logs the target reps. Today shows only the active phase's sessions, and confirm dialogs are no longer hidden behind the tab bar. New in Settings: an F-Droid update notice and optional error reports.

In this release:

  • A workout is stamped when it's saved, not when it's sent (Limekana/limecore#27, #33).
  • A discarded workout is tombstoned in the cloud, and recovery skips it (#32, #34).
  • The recovery pull is paged, and keeps each workout's sets in lift order (Limekana/limecore#28, #31).
  • LAST shows only finished sets with reps (#42, #44).
  • DONE on an empty field logs the target: the low end of a range, and it's refused for a target with no number (#42, #44).
  • Today lists only the active phase's sessions (#43, #45).
  • The confirm dialog sits above the tab bar and the system navigation bar (#39, #40).
  • Opt-in error reports with a recovery screen (Limekana/limecore#16, #38).
  • F-Droid update notice, with a switch in Settings (#26, #37).
  • Security:
    • Suite sign-in is taken only from the genuine NCC (Limekana/limecore#35, #36).
    • Actions are pinned to SHAs, with Dependabot (#35).
  • Privacy policy updated to cover error reports, the feedback form and the update check. The app shows a one-time notice.

LimeLog 1.15.1

@Limekana Limekana released this 24 Sep 14:36

Patch release. The Suite milestone stays at v1.16.

Fix: a finished workout could be uploaded several times at once, so its sets showed up multiplied in Nexus Command Center, and a workout saved while another was uploading could fail to sync. Each workout now uploads exactly once, and uploading one again cleans up its extra copies.

Fixed in this release (limelog#28):

  • Finishing a workout enqueued several outbox items, each firing a drain. The drain flag was only claimed after an auth round trip, so several drains ran the same queue head in parallel — up to 8 uploads of one workout, each writing a fresh copy of its set list.
  • Set rows now carry ids derived from the session and the set's position, so any number of pushes converge on the same rows instead of multiplying them. Stale rows from earlier versions are cleaned up on the next push of that workout.
  • The queue is rebuilt from live storage after each push, so an item added while a push was in flight is no longer overwritten out of the queue.

Duplicate rows already on the server were removed on 2026-09-24 (Limekana/limecore#29): 766 of 1180 set rows across 11 sessions, keeping the newest copy of each. NCC's volume and Life Score figures are correct again.

LimeLog v1.15.0 - Swap an Exercise

@Limekana Limekana released this 20 Sep 09:21
8c4fd46

Swap an exercise for one workout.

Rack taken or something hurts? Tap Swap on any exercise to pick an alternative that trains the same movement or muscle. It applies to this workout only — your program stays as it is — and your sets are logged under the exercise you actually did. Exercises your injury notes say to avoid are not suggested.

LimeLog v1.14.0 - Tap-to-Stack Entry, Plate Bay Everywhere

@Limekana Limekana released this 17 Sep 07:08
46ed711

LimeLog v1.14.0 — Tap-to-Stack Entry, Plate Bay Everywhere

What's new

  • PlateKeypad: tap-to-stack weight entry. Enter a set's weight the way you actually think about it mid-workout — one tap per plate per side, not typing a number. Button faces show the actual per-tap change (+40 for a 20, since plates go on both sleeves). Undo removes the last plate tapped, not the lightest. A load the plate inventory can't build exactly is seeded to the nearest match with the gap shown, not hidden.
  • The plate bay now renders everywhere a weight does — WeightUpModal and PRHistory, not just the main workout view. WeightUpModal also gains a proper unit prop; it previously always showed "kg" regardless of the user's actual unit.
  • A daily release guard flags a version tag older than 24h with no published Release — six historical gaps (including v1.6.1 and v1.5.0) found while writing it and recorded as accepted so the guard starts green.

Verification

  • npm run build, npm run lint: clean
  • Signing certificate verified against the suite keystore (27e17d1f…55e4)

Not done: no committed test harness yet for pairLoad/seeding logic (covered by reasoning + local runs only) — needs esbuild as a direct dependency or CI off Node 20, tracked as its own item.

Ships as part of the Suite's v1.14 milestone alongside StudyDesk v1.14.0 and NCC v1.14.0 (P5: suite version lockstep). No desktop edition.

LimeLog v1.13.0 - Cast Iron

Choose a tag to compare

@Limekana Limekana released this 12 Sep 15:37
5c5657c

LimeLog v1.13.0 — Cast Iron

What's new

  • Cast Iron theme fully wired and shipped: dark palette, a plate-bay visualization on the workout view that renders a weight as a loaded barbell rather than a bare number, theme-aware entitlement handling (demotes the theme on a lapsed entitlement or sign-out instead of waiting for a restart), and a theme-color meta tag that now follows the active theme instead of being hardcoded to the free theme's base color.
  • Contrast fix: Bare Steel's tertiary text was measured against the wrong background and actually sat at 4.36:1 (below AA) rather than the claimed 4.6:1. Lifted to clear 4.5:1+ against all four backgrounds.
  • Two strings that had become false — implying no entitlements exist / nothing is locked behind the perk — corrected across all 10 locales to state plainly that Cast Iron is one alternative palette and every workout feature is identical without it.
  • Fixed: the theme store could disagree with the rendered screen on cold start (it read a DOM attribute before bootstrapTheme() had set it) — both now derive from one pure resolver.
  • Fixed: the plate bay could try to render loads that can't physically be built from plates — on cable/dumbbell exercises, and on unit-rounding artifacts for lb users. It now correctly detects barbell-only context and uses proper unit conversion.
  • IME gate added to npm run lint locally (was CI-only before this release).

Deliberately deferred: PlateKeypad tap-to-stack entry, and extending the plate bay to WeightUpModal / PRHistory. The theme is complete and coherent without them.

Verification

  • IME gate, secret scan, tsc -b && vite build, eslint --max-warnings 0: all clean
  • Signing certificate verified against the suite keystore (27e17d1f…55e4)
  • Stale-asset gate: 8/8 bundled assets byte-identical to a fresh build
  • SHA-256 (app-release.apk): 3025B73044E8AB985E531AAC27416C85D17E599636FDCD1E3C6E2EC6B2923675

LimeLog v1.12.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Limekana Limekana released this 30 Aug 19:04
df253ae

Fixes typing with Chinese, Japanese and Korean keyboards.

Characters could be lost while the keyboard was still composing them, so what you typed into a session note or an exercise name did not always survive. Every text field is fixed.

Also adds the groundwork for seeing how the app is actually used over time, so future changes can be based on that rather than guesswork. Nothing about your workouts is shared.

LimeLog v1.11.0

@Limekana Limekana released this 28 Aug 13:48
8edcc31

LimeLog v1.11.0

  • Discord community link added.
  • Referral attribution — self-reported "how did you hear about us" prompt.
  • The daily sign-out is fixed (SESS-1). The suite's single sign-on handoff was guessing the wrong one-time-token type on verification; it now tries the plausible types in sequence instead of failing over to a fallback path that was quietly revoking your session token family after a few hours. You should no longer be signed out of LimeLog (or StudyDesk) once a day.

LimeLog v1.10.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Limekana Limekana released this 20 Aug 13:52
4867b70

Log any training session, not just cardio.

Sessions that aren't lifting and aren't a named cardio activity now have a home: give a session a type, a duration and a note, and it counts toward your week like everything else.

Being signed out every day or two is fixed — each app now holds its own session instead of sharing one they kept invalidating for each other.

You can also send feedback from Settings, and setup no longer reappears on an account that has already finished it.

LimeLog v1.9.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Limekana Limekana released this 18 Aug 17:33
9e2efea

Cardio logging (run/ride/swim, no sets or program needed), code-based signup confirmation (AUTH-2), a Ko-fi support link in Settings, and three UI fixes: a program that couldn't be deactivated, off tab-panel spacing, and the nav accent not showing on tap.

Suite v1.9 — synced with NCC and StudyDesk 1.9.0. Signed with the shared release cert (SHA-256 27e17d1f...55e4).
