Overview
• LineageOS-22.2
• Device target: Blackberry KEY2 LE (luna)
• Android platform security patch: May 2026
• Kernel: 4.4.302
• Requires factory reset/data wipe when flashing from stock BB-Android or from any of bochenek/BotchedRPR's previous builds. Make sure to select factory reset/wipe data in the Lineage recovery before sideloading this ROM.
What is working (after brief tests):
• WiFi
• Bluetooth
• NFC
• System sounds (for media audio see below)
• Fingerprint scanner
• Sensors
• SD Cards
• USB storage
• GPS
• SELinux and encryption
Not working:
• Camera --> Fixed in 20260615 update
• Flashlight --> Fixed in 20260615 update
• Media audio using phone speakers (media audio will only play when connected to Bluetooth or wired headphones) --> Fixed in 20260606 update
• Videos using phone speakers (videos will only play normally when connected to Bluetooth or wired headphones) --> Fixed in 20260606 update
Not much testing done:
• SIM card and phone functions (calling, SMS, data, etc)

Changes in this ROM compared to the last Bochenek KEY2LE build (20260201):
• May 2026 Android platform security patch
• SELinux and encryption both enabled
• Changed input method switcher shortcut from SYM key to Alt + Enter to avoid interfering with SYM key function in keyboard apps
• SYM key and speed key returned to their default functions in stock BB-Android (SYM key now works to pull up symbols in the bundled Pastiera keyboard app)
• Serial console disabled (should improve performance)
• Build no longer signed with public keys (should improve security)
Other notes:
• Disclaimer: I relied heavily on Claude AI to fix the fingerprint sensor functionality, which was not working after building from the latest Bochenek sources (problem was mostly or fully caused by SELinux being enabled)
• During Lineage setup after factory reset/data wipe, the default Android keyboard is selected and the Alt modifier for entering numbers/symbols and SYM key do not work.
--> A single press of the Alt key and then tapping the “ABC” button in the bottom left corner will bring up the on-screen keyboard, allowing you to enter numbers or symbols for your Wifi password and/or PIN setup
--> Run the bundled Pastiera app after finishing Lineage setup to switch to the Pastiera keyboard.
