• 🔎 代替任务栏上的 Windows 搜索：设置 → 打开 Win顺 → 任务栏 里是一张四步的卡片，做好的一步自动打勾。打开“在任务栏上放 Win顺 的搜索框”（Windows 11），任务栏图标旁边就多了一个搜索框：点它直接打字，结果从任务栏后面滑出来，中文输入法的候选条也在框上。按住框左边的图标可以把它拖到任务栏别的空地上，开关程序时它跟着图标一起挪。不想占地方，也可以只固定一个按钮（Windows 会问是否固定，选“是”）。还没打字时，上面一排是最常用的 6 个应用。还可以用 Win+S 打开（Win+Shift+S 截图照常可用），或者在开始菜单里直接打字也用 Win顺 搜索。
  In the place of Windows search on the taskbar: Settings → Open WinShun → Taskbar has a four-step card that ticks off each step done. Turn on “Put WinShun's search box on the taskbar” (Windows 11) and a search box appears beside the taskbar icons: click it and type, the results slide out from behind the taskbar, and the input method's candidates sit on the box. Hold the icon at its left to drag it elsewhere along the taskbar; it moves with the icons as programs open and close. Or just pin a button (Windows asks whether to pin it: say yes). Before you type, the top row has the six apps you open most. Win+S can open it too (Win+Shift+S still takes screenshots), and so can typing in the Start menu.
• 📅 修改日期和只找文件夹：每个文件和文件夹的名字右边写着上次修改的时间（今天 14:32、昨天、周三……），鼠标停在上面看完整日期；在 文件 和 文件夹 里点底栏的排序按钮，最近修改的排在前面。选中 文件 时旁边出现 文件夹，点它或接着按 Tab 就只列文件夹。名字和输入完全一样的排在最前；文件和文件夹各排各的，默认文件在前，设置里可以改成文件夹在前。
  Dates, and folders alone: every file and folder shows when it was last changed (today 14:32, yesterday, Wednesday…), the full date on hover; in Files and Folders the sort button in the footer puts the newest first. With Files selected, Folders appears beside it: click it, or press Tab again, for folders only. A name that is exactly what you typed comes first; files and folders rank apart, files first by default, folders first if you like.

  Number keys open a row: hold Ctrl for a moment to see the row numbers, then Ctrl+1–Ctrl+9 opens that visible row. Settings → Result list switches it to Alt or off. Other programs' global hotkeys on these keys don't get in the way while the search box is in front, and the settings name the keys they hold. The clipboard keeps Alt+1–Alt+9, or Ctrl if you prefer.

  Search the text in documents: content search now covers Word, Excel and PowerPoint files (old and new formats), PDF and WPS files, and says the page, the slide, or the sheet and row. Documents are read by a separate, locked-down process, and the text is kept on your PC so they are not read again. Lines of code are found more precisely too, punctuation and all, like index->readLock();.

  A clipboard that opens where you type: the clipboard is now a small window of its own, under the line you are typing in. Opened from one of WinShun's own text boxes, it drops down under that box and pastes into it. Click an entry to paste it; Alt+P or the eye button opens the preview beside the list. “Keep at most” goes from 50 to 300 entries, 200 by default (100 with 16 GB of memory or less); a limit of 500 or more set before becomes 300 and older entries beyond it are deleted, while pinned and grouped ones stay.

  Double Ctrl leaves your games alone: many games crouch on Ctrl. Double Ctrl no longer opens the search box over a game in exclusive full screen or one that has hidden the mouse pointer to turn the view; optionally not over anything full screen either, or never over programs you list. Your other shortcut still works. Double Ctrl is also more reliable: touchpad zooming and pressing Ctrl while dragging files no longer set it off, and the gap between the taps follows your double-click speed.

  The file-dialog search bar finds room: when there is no room under an Open or Save dialog, the search bar goes on its left or right, and where nothing fits the dialog is made a little smaller; you can also fix it below, left or right in the settings.
• 💾 索引可以放到别的盘：设置 → 高级 → 索引位置，可以把索引移到别的文件夹，移动时照常搜索。索引文件缩小到原来的三分之一，保存和加载更快。
  The index can live on another disk: Settings → Advanced → Index location moves the index to another folder while you keep searching. The index file is a third of its old size, and saves and loads faster.

Its free stretches are skipped and several disks are read at once (the volumes of one hard disk in turn), about twice as fast; while the index is built, the status line shows which drive is being read and how far.

2. 装好后，可以删掉原来解压的文件夹。设置、索引和最近使用记录都在原处，安装版直接接着用；开机自启也会自动换成安装版。

3. Run the installer. The old version, if running, gets closed.

4. Once installed, you can delete the old unzipped folder. Settings, index and recent items stay where they are and the installed copy picks them up; autostart switches to it as well.

新功能 · What's new

• 🌐 中英双语：设置 → 外观里选“跟随系统 / 简体中文 / English”，切换后立即生效，不用重启。默认跟随 Windows 的显示语言。
  English and Chinese: pick System, 简体中文 or English under Settings → Appearance; it switches at once, no restart. By default it follows the Windows display language.
• 🎨 主题切换：浅色、深色或跟随系统，在预览图上点一下，整个窗口淡入淡出地换过去。
  Light or dark theme: or follow Windows. Click a preview and the whole window cross-fades to it.
• 🔔 检查更新：每次启动和之后每 12 小时到 GitHub 看一眼，有新版本时在托盘提示，打开就能看到改了什么，点“去下载”在浏览器里打开下载页。托盘菜单里可以“检查更新…”，设置 → 高级里可以关掉自动检查。
  Update checks: at every start and every 12 hours WinShun asks GitHub for the latest version. A new one is announced from the tray with what changed, and Download opens its page in your browser. Use Check for updates… in the tray menu, or turn automatic checks off in Settings → Advanced.
• 🏷️ 显示版本号：设置窗口左下角和托盘菜单里都能看到当前版本。

• 🐞 修复右键菜单：在搜索结果上点右键，菜单现在能正常弹出了。

1. 在托盘图标的右键菜单里选“退出”。
2. 把下载的压缩包解压，用里面的 WinShun 文件夹覆盖原来的文件夹。
