AXIS GUI for LATHE TouchOff of Z not working

ONLY in LATHE Modus

Set TouchOff X-Axis to any value all is fine but if i TouchOff Z-Axis - after set to any value after that i can not move the ´Z-Axis anymore.
The selection field from Z-Axis goes blank.

So for comprehend the behaviour on Display Axis do following:

Change your Machine to Lathe:
Set in *.ini
Lathe = TRUE
Then Start LinuxCNC normal
Test moving on Axis - on my Lathe only X and Z
Touchoff Z-Axis set any value and click okay
After this you can not move the Z-axis again but X is moving normal.

If you set Display to gmocappy all worked as expected - so look like a bug in Axis only by use as LATHE.

I tested on latest master, axis lathe configuration, I can move normally after touch off, but seems like increment movement does not work, but that is true also for non lathe, seems separate bug.

Separate regression spotted while testing this.

Increment-mode +/- jog buttons still broken after b949b3e0bf:

AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'keysym'

tcl/axis.tcl:894,907 call jog_minus 1 / jog_plus 1, so event="1" reaches key_pressed and .keysym fails. Continuous-mode buttons is fine, only increment-mode hits it.

Hello,I will check tommortow  but you sure you can m8ve axis?Do you have a real maschine on it or an simulator?Because i have a real machine an the Z Axis is not make any pulses after TouchOff. It looks like it pulses y axis instead z. But set as kathe tgere is no y axis. Yes I am sure, what version of linuxcnc are you using? I am running in the sim, it should not matter if it's a real machine or not, if it does, it might be something with your configuration, can you share your INI and HAL file or zip the entire configuration folder?
I am using the + - buttons on the UI to move, I also try MDI, seems to work fine in simulation

Hello,So i build mew from scratch and use the newest Version. I tried again, I cannot replicate, in sim everything moves correctly to me, even the joint.n.motor-pos-cmd which are the signals that should connect to your motor drivers. Complete configuration maybe needed to replicate, can you check the motor-pos-cmd move? Do you have stepgens in your configuration? Mesa? ethercat? LPT? So many questions, please post complete configuration...

Hello,

so now i have not modify anything - i'm also on the original release 2.9.8!
I will do the mod later... now on work.

On original release 2.9.8 without any mod - not compiled from sources - only download and install.
If i use LinuxCNC normal then i have XYZ-Axis and all is fine.
If i use LATHE, Z- Axis fail on Axis-GUI after TouchOff.
If i use cmoccappy with LATHE all is working like a charm.

So do you think this bug is causing from my hall and ini? Only on Axis-GUI? So it is controller-dependig with it affect only AXIS-GUI?

Attached configs - i have modified it x-times because of this bug - so it is a standard hal and ini, often i have changed joints - but the bug is every time present on AXIS-GUI.
