First public release of the Claude Code Voice Plugin.

An audio sensory layer for Claude Code — themed earcons, text-to-speech voices, spatial volume mixing across tmux panes, and per-persona voice identities running locally on your GPU.

Highlights

  • 7 themed sound sets (Default, StarCraft, Warcraft, Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros, Kingdom Hearts)
  • 252+ procedurally generated WAVs from numpy/scipy — no sample downloads needed
  • Kokoro-82M local TTS with per-persona voice routing
  • Voice arbiter: asyncio daemon with 5 modes (Ambient/Focused/Solo/Silent/Broadcast), per-pane priority queues, GateEngine
  • Spatial volume mixer: volume follows cognitive distance across tmux panes
  • Content-aware sound routing: git commits, test passes, errors each get distinct sounds
  • <150ms hook-to-audio latency
  • 20 lib modules, 3 systemd daemons, 4 architecture decision records
  • Zero external Python dependencies in the hook path
