Ivrit Sheli 2.12.2 — Visual Harmony & Resilience

Ivrit Sheli 2.12.2 publishes the reviewed source behind the Living Hebrew
Nocturne experience. It is a GitHub source release, not a hosted deployment.

✨ Highlights

  • Trilingual English, Spanish, and Hebrew interface with native RTL/LTR layout,
persistent dark/light themes, reduced-motion support, responsive navigation,
and accessible keyboard and screen-reader semantics.
  • Three learner experiences—Guided, Explorer, and Experienced—over one shared
learning history, plus Alphabet Studio for 22 base letters and 5 positional
    final forms.
  • A reviewed 240-concept starter catalog with 240 exact, deterministic semantic
scenes rendered locally at thumbnail, card, and hero sizes.
  • Responsive Israel journey art, a unified Nocturne wordmark and app icon,
fifteen selectable vector avatars, and privacy-reviewed README evidence.
  • Local SQLite mode without an account, plus an optional PostgreSQL 17 path
protected by a restricted runtime role and forced row-level security.
  • Deterministic coaching and optional, separately configured self-hosted speech
and Web Push capabilities; the core learning path requires neither paid AI
    nor cloud audio.

✅ Verified locally

  • Frontend: 858 passed / 49 files / 0 failed.
  • Backend: 363 passed / 1 PostgreSQL credential-gated skip / 0 failed.
  • Served-path Playwright: 35 passed / 40 intentional project-scoped skips /
    0 failed
across 390, 768, and 1440 px projects with CSP active.
  • Capture contracts: 4 passed / 0 failed.
  • TypeScript, Vite production build, Ruff, strict MyPy, dependency audits,
release-truth validation, checksum generation, and package verification pass.
  • Five current README captures were reviewed for privacy, full-size rendering,
and grayscale readability. A non-looping eight-second GIF reuses four of
those approved frames. Exact hashes and provenance live in
    assets/readme/proof/2.12.2/manifest.json.

See TEST_REPORT.md
for commands, dated evidence, known
warnings, and the explicit not-run list.

⚠️ Boundaries

  • No durable hosted demo is currently verified. The former Railway service is
offline, and temporary tunnel sessions are not product URLs.
  • This release does not deploy the application or change a database, OAuth
client, external provider, Devpost entry, or production configuration.
  • Generated contact-sheet inspection, human five-second recognition,
Hebrew-content acceptance, the pilot with Kevin's mother, isolated HTTPS
staging, two-real-account continuity and isolation, and backup/restore remain
    open.
  • The Playwright suite uses deterministic API fixtures. It proves browser
behavior on the FastAPI-served bundle, not provider or hosted persistence.

📦 Release assets

  • IvritSheli-v2.12.2.zip — reproducible archive built from the immutable
    tagged Git tree.
  • IvritSheli-v2.12.2.zip.sha256 — external SHA-256 digest for that archive.
  • GitHub-generated source archives remain available separately.

1b72e82

Ivrit Sheli 2.2.0

A recruiter-ready truth release for the deployed trilingual Hebrew-learning platform.

Verified in this release

  • Live Railway deployment and PostgreSQL readiness
  • 139 backend + 48 frontend = 187 automated tests
  • React 19, TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL 17, Alembic and Docker architecture
  • Structured logging and multilingual EN/ES/HE native RTL UX
  • Strict machine-readable portfolio manifest and release-drift verification

Honest boundaries

  • The public demo uses synthetic read-only content.
  • The final live OAuth authorization-code exchange, session refresh and logout are not yet verified end to end.
  • The v2.2 social card is current; the screenshot set remains v2.1.x until the pending v2.2 browser-QA capture pass.

Full verification passed on GitHub: language analysis, CodeQL, local-first quality gates, PostgreSQL integration and production Docker image build.

Ivrit Sheli 2.0 — Cloud Full-Stack Release

A production-shaped full-stack release of the trilingual Hebrew-learning PWA, preserving its privacy-first offline experience while adding an optional authenticated cloud path.

Verified engineering evidence

  • GitHub OAuth with PKCE and server-side session handling
  • PostgreSQL persistence with tenant-aware row-level security
  • Alembic migrations and a non-root Docker runtime
  • Structured JSON logging with sensitive-field redaction
  • Integration coverage for authentication, persistence, and isolation boundaries
  • 109 backend tests plus 17 frontend tests: 126 passing tests total
  • Hebrew RTL, English, and Spanish product surfaces

The source release is complete. A live Railway URL is intentionally not claimed until deployment, TLS, readiness, and the production OAuth callback have been verified.
