• Explicit missing credential, 401, timeout, network, upstream, invalid response, and empty balance states
• Verified typecheck, 23 tests, build, local checkout install, real Web UI, tarball contents, and clean tarball install
• Live balance smoke was not run because DEEPSEEK_API_KEY was absent; no balance or secret was printed
