Release list
DPWIM v0.3.1
DPWIM v0.3.1
DPWIM v0.3.1 is a latency, bypass, and meter-responsiveness maintenance
release for the Windows VST2/VST3 input mixer.
Highlights
- Refresh Dry, source, and MAIN OUT meters at 60 Hz while keeping heavier
control/status work at 5 Hz. - Keep DPWIM's persistent internal bypass separate from the host's standard
bypass so graph reconnection cannot inherit a temporary zero-latency report. - Align standard host-bypass audio with the unchanged OUT latency while
retaining immediate, zero-latency behavior for the DPWIM BYPASS button. - Update host latency immediately for Base Latency, Sync Offset, pitch, source
enable, and internal bypass changes. - Reject stale delay history after internal bypass or callback gaps and keep
continuous Dry audio across normal/standard-host-bypass transitions. - Cover the complete Base/negative-Offset/pitch timeline at low sample rates
and invalidate source FIFO history without a UI/audio-thread data race. - Clarify that OUT is DPWIM's reported plugin delay rather than measured
end-to-end host or device latency.

Preview status
This is an unsigned Windows public preview. The release is locally verified
with deterministic processor tests, a live Windows process-loopback test,
loaded VST2/VST3 probes, package extraction and rescan, state restoration, and
responsive editor snapshots. It is not yet validated across a broad DAW
matrix and is not claimed production-ready.
DPWIM v0.3.0
DPWIM v0.3.0
DPWIM v0.3.0 expands the Windows input mixer with causal sync handling,
per-source pitch controls, immediate global bypass, clearer latency reporting,
and real-time level meters.
Highlights
- Keep negative source offsets causal by automatically delaying the other
active paths only as much as required. - Distinguish Base, OUT, and automatic SYNC latency and report the final sample
count to the host. - Adjust per-source Transpose and Fine Pitch from the Advanced panel.
- Bypass DPWIM processing and captured sources immediately at unity with zero
reported plugin latency. - Monitor post-gain Dry Input and source contributions with horizontal L/R
meters, plus the final summed output with a dedicated vertical MAIN OUT
meter. - Check for a newer GitHub release without automatically downloading or
replacing plugin files. - Preserve the existing
targetLatencyparameter ID and legacy project/state
compatibility while appending the new bypass parameter.

DPWIM v0.2.3
DPWIM v0.2.3
DPWIM v0.2.3 adds an independent Dry Input ON/OFF control.
Highlights
- Disable only the upstream microphone or host-chain input while application
and desktop capture sources continue mixing. - Preserve the common target-latency path while Dry Input is disabled.
- Automate and restore the Dry Input state through the host project or preset.
- Keep the selected applications, source ON/OFF controls, per-source gains,
sync offsets, and refreshed Windows application icons from v0.2.2.

DPWIM v0.2.2
DPWIM v0.2.2
v0.2.2 adds persistent per-source ON/OFF controls and neutral defaults for
new DirectPipe Windows Input Mixer instances.
Highlights
- Start new instances at the minimum 10 ms Target Latency.
- Start all four source gains at 0 dB.
- Turn every configured source ON or OFF independently.
- Preserve application/desktop identity, gain, and sync offset while OFF.
- Save and restore the source enable state with the host project.
- Refresh Windows executable icons immediately after selecting an application.
- Keep the
v0.2.1icon/text spacing fix at reference and minimum editor sizes.
Existing host projects and presets continue to restore their saved latency and
gain values instead of being overwritten by the new defaults.

DPWIM v0.2.1
DPWIM v0.2.1
v0.2.1 adds an automatic build-version badge to the DirectPipe Windows Input
Mixer header.
Highlights
- Shows the installed plugin version directly in the mixer header.
- Reads the value from the CMake/JUCE build metadata instead of hardcoding it.
- Keeps the visible badge, VST2 DLL, and VST3 module version synchronized.
- Prevents application icons from covering the first letters of process names.
- Preserves the
v0.2.0audio, synchronization, state, and mixer-layout
contracts.

- Adjust every source independently from -60 to +12 dB.
- Apply per-source -200 to +200 ms manual sync trims.
- Identify selected applications with their real Windows executable icons.
- Resize the editor from 840 x 520 through 1280 x 800.
