Welcome to the first official release of Terraria-RPC!
This application brings a fully customizable, real-time Discord Rich Presence client to your Terraria playthroughs. By safely reading Terraria's memory, it dynamically updates your Discord profile with highly accurate information about your character, world, and current actions without requiring any mods.
✨ Key Features
🎮 Live In-Game Stats
- Player Status: Displays your live HP, Max HP, Mana, Max Mana, and Defense.
- Dynamic Attack Tracking: Smartly tracks your Highest DPS or highest weapon damage output and projects it to your status ({{PlayerAtk}}).
- Currently Held Item: Shows the exact item you're currently holding in your hand.
🌍 World & Biome Tracking
- World Details: Displays your world's name, size, evil type (Corruption/Crimson), and difficulty (Classic, Expert, Master, Legendary).
- Special & Secret Seeds: Automatically detects and displays if you are playing on unique seeds (e.g., For the Worthy, Zenith, Not the Bees, Drunk World, etc.).
- Live Biomes: Accurately detects which biome you are currently standing in (including depth modifiers like Underground or Cavern).
🛠️ Total Customization
- GUI Configurator: Easily change what text appears on your Discord status using a built-in graphical interface.
- Template Variables: Supports 15+ live variables (e.g., {{PlayerHp}}, {{Biome}}, {{WorldDifficultyWithFtwEscalation}}) that you can mix and match to build your perfect status.
- Dynamic Icons: Automatically rotates through Evil tree icons, special seed icons, or displays the icon of the item you are currently holding.
👻 Headless & Seamless Mode
- Headless Mode:
- On Terraria's shortcut app, you can paste this following command on the shortcut's target field
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "" "C:\Path\To\Your\TerrariaRPC.exe" --no-gui & start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria\Terraria.exe"which will launch Terraria alongside the RPC in headless mode.
Do note that your installation folder (Terraria) varies, so if you install the game somewhere else, you have to locate it by going to your Steam Library > Right click Terraria > Browse local files > Navigate to Terraria.exe > Hold Shift while Right-clicking Terraria.exe > Copy as path > Then replace the filepath on the shortcut.
Since the first argument of the shortcut launches cmd.exe, the shortcut's icon turn into cmd.exe, you can just replace it by pressing "Change icon" and choose the Terarria.exe - If you use launching it via Steam, you can add this on Launch Option box:
"C:\Path\To\Your\TerrariaRPC.exe" --no-gui %command%
- On Terraria's shortcut app, you can paste this following command on the shortcut's target field
- Auto-Exit: The app smartly detects when you close Terraria and will automatically shut itself down.
- System Tray: When running the GUI, closing the window minimizes it cleanly to your system tray so it stays out of your way while gaming.
- Single Instance: Built-in safeguards prevent the app from opening multiple times by accident.
