Playhub Notifications brings fully customizable, platform-inspired notifications to Steam Big Picture on Windows. Replace Steam’s standard popups with animated themes inspired by Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, GOG Galaxy, Epic Games Launcher, Android and Playhub, while preserving Steam’s native notification history, achievement artwork and underlying functionality.

What’s new

  • Added seven fully animated notification themes inspired by Xbox Console, PlayStation, GOG Galaxy, Epic Games Launcher, Nintendo, Android and Playhub, each with its own visual composition, motion and sound design.
  • Added support for Achievement, Message, Invite, Friend status, Download, Screenshot, Controller, Warning, System and Community notifications.
  • Added real Steam achievement artwork, displaying the original unlocked achievement image.
  • Added independent notification duration controls for every notification category, allowing each type of notification to stay on screen for a different amount of time.
  • Added Notification volume control with a dedicated master slider.
  • Added richer Friend Online and Friend In Game notifications, showing the friend’s Steam display name together with the game they started playing.
  • Added a complete Preview & Test section for quickly testing every supported notification category directly from the Quick Access Menu.
  • Added individual visibility toggles for every notification category, letting users decide exactly which Steam events should use Playhub Notifications.
