Quick Settings 2.1.0 is a reliability update. It makes sure the panel starts and connects inside Steam Big Picture, even when other Playhub services are running.

Improvements

  • Quick Settings now runs on its own loopback port (127.0.0.1:47993), so it no longer competes with Playhub Focus Rescue for a shared port in Gaming Mode.
  • The bundled agent now starts together with the plugin backend and follows Steam’s Big Picture lifecycle.
  • Agent start and stop operations are serialized, and unloading or uninstalling the plugin cleanly stops every Quick Settings agent it started.
  • Initial backend reads are performed sequentially to protect Decky’s Windows local RPC channel, and a failed connection attempt now clears its cache and retries instead of staying stuck.

Fixes

  • Fixed the main issue that could leave the QAM panel disconnected: a port conflict with Playhub Focus Rescue prevented the bundled agent from starting, so volume and brightness controls were unavailable. Quick Settings and Focus Rescue now run side by side without colliding like good friends.

Install or update

You can update Quick Settings from the Playhub Plugin Store in the Playhub app.
You can also download Quick-Settings_Installer-2.1.0.zip below and install it through Decky Loader developer mode.

Quick Settings reflects your live Windows settings, so there is nothing to migrate when you update.
Quick Settings uses native Windows tools for audio, display, HDR, and AMD driver features. For this reason it doesn't work on Linux.
