This update rebuilds Quick Settings around the Playhub interface, makes its controls ready almost instantly, and keeps Lossless Scaling out of your way.

What's new

  • A complete Playhub-style QAM redesign with compact section cards and clear icons.
  • Improved performance and reduced resource usage. The plugin now performs less background work, uses fewer system resources, and feels smoother throughout Steam Gaming Mode.

Improvements

  • Audio output, microphone input, resolution, refresh rate, and frame generation now use full-width controls below their labels.
  • Initial settings are collected in one parallel snapshot instead of a slow sequence of requests.
  • Audio devices are prepared in the background before the QAM is opened.

Fixes

  • Fixed the several-second delay before volume and audio devices became usable.
  • Lossless Scaling starts and restarts hidden, without appearing over Steam.
  • Lossless Scaling settings are saved atomically before a restart.
