Stable Token: LUSD

Loci USD is minted by DAO associates using USDC, USDT, DAI or participating Loci fiat (USD) cashiers.

Loci Bells each hold a face value of $1 Loci USD, each are marketable exclusively for LUSD.

The roadmap for Loci USD features swappable regional pairs minted for on-chain use by semi-autonomous non-bank cashiers with local currency. Regional pairs that we expect cashiers to serve include:

*Argentina: Loci ARS
*Brazil: Loci BRL
*Colombia: Loci COP
*Mexico: Loci MXN

In the Middle East we aim to support local cashiers in these regions:

Egypt: Loci EGP
KSA: Loci SAR
Iraq: Loci dinar
UAE: Loci riyal

In all cases, Loci instruments will be on-chain tokens with a treasury secured both decentrally and with semi-autonomous cashiers collecting and delivering fiat spending power on demand.
