Loci USD is minted by DAO associates using USDC, USDT, DAI or participating Loci fiat (USD) cashiers.

Loci USD is a swappable instrument for regional Loci pairs. Regional pairs that we expect to serve include:

Argentina: Loci ARS
Brazil: Loci BRL
Colombia: Loci COP
Mexico: Loci MXN

In the Middle East we aim to support local cashiers in these regions:

Egypt: Loci pound
KSA: Loci riyal
Iraq: Loci dinar
UAE: Loci riyal

In all cases, Loci instruments will be on-chain tokens with a treasury secured both decentrally and with semi-autonomous cashiers collecting and delivering fiat spending power on demand.
