🇬🇧 Release Notes
✨ Features
Added "Most Common Places and Family Names of the Ancestral Lines". This new section answers the frequently asked question "What are you researching?" at a glance. For each branch of the family, the most frequent places and surnames are summarised, making it easy to see the main focus of your research data.
A release of the console application for macOS and Linux is now available.
The Mary Hill colors have been adjusted. Green and blue were chosen so that all four colours remain distinguishable for people with colour vision deficiencies such as deuteranopia and protanopia. The green therefore has a distinct turquoise tint, making it easier distinguishably from the red.
The HTML output can now also be generated only for the proband (Generation 0), making it possible to trace the life journey of a single person.
The filterNamesparameter allows you to filter the persons available for selection right from the start.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Long Kekule numbers in higher generations no longer overlap with the person's name.
Fixed further issues when reading and displaying dates of people's lifespans.
The smallest possible clusters on the migration map are now slightly smaller. At the same time, they are limited to a maximum diameter of 100 pixels and can no longer grow indefinitely when there are many events at the same location.
Cluster popups on the migration map are now initially as small as possible and only expand when their details are opened.
