🛠️ RenLocalizer v2.6.1 - Developer's Note
Greetings! As a solo developer, I prefer not to use definitive terms like "100% fixed" unless I’ve seen it work in every possible scenario. For features I cannot personally test (like specific paid APIs or high-end local LLMs), I rely on technical logic and "trial and error". I don't want to mislead anyone—if it works, great; if not, we’ll keep trying. Here is what I’ve been working on:

🛡️ Integrity Protection (Experimental)
I've designed a 3-layer system to try and "rescue" variables corrupted by AI:

  • Syntax Restoration: Aims to fix extra spaces or broken brackets automatically.
  • Fuzzy Match (RapidFuzz): Tries to recover heavily damaged tags based on string similarity.
  • Safety Limit: Fuzzy matching is disabled for short tags (< 6 chars) to avoid false positives.
  • Crash Prevention: If a line remains corrupted, the system will reject the translation and revert to the original English text for stability.

🛠️ Improvements & Observations

  • DeepL API: Updated the authentication logic. It should work now based on the new requirements, but please let me know your results.
  • Clean Build: Optimized the executable by removing unnecessary libraries (pandas, matplotlib, etc.) for a cleaner build.
  • Asset Fix: I believe I’ve fixed the missing icons in the built version.
  • UI Update: Added English names to the language selector for better navigation (e.g., Türkçe (Turkish)).
