ThothTerm Terminal Emulator 1.0.0 — Golden Baseline

First stable release of the standalone ThothTerm Terminal Emulator for
Android, frozen as the project's golden baseline.

Highlights

  • Multiple terminal windows with foreground-service-owned sessions.
  • Extra Keys toolbar with NAV and SYM pages (fit to screen, no horizontal swipe).
  • CTRL/ALT one-shot and locked modifiers with [1]/[L] state labels.
  • Modern Android UI with Dark / Light / System / AMOLED themes.
  • Full UTF-8 support.
  • Arabic contextual shaping and Unicode BiDi visual rendering, including mixed
    Arabic/English/numeric lines, with logical↔visual cursor and selection mapping.
  • Terminal cursor/cell alignment fixes, a right-edge cell-clipping fix, and a
    friendly app_HOME prompt.

Scope

This release is the terminal-emulator edition. It does not include
Ubuntu, PRoot, a Linux rootfs, apt, or any embedded Linux runtime. A future,
separate product is reserved as com.thothterm.linux.

Signing status

Production store signing is pending: no ThothTerm signing credentials are
configured, so the release APK/AAB are UNSIGNED and are not store-ready. The
attached *-debug.apk files are signed with the Android debug key and are
for device testing only. No signing identity was invented.

Verified

  • Full/Play debug builds and Full/Play release builds (unsigned) succeed.

  • Unit-test tasks are NO-SOURCE.
  • No ThothTerm signing credentials exist; signed production APK/AAB remains pending.
