✨ What's New
🎬 User Interface
- Replaced the loading image with a Bodvar animated GIF during application startup.
🔄 Legacy Source Compatibility
- Added automatic sprite discovery for old mod sources with missing, empty or outdated
_cache.jsonmetadata. - Added automatic source-cache migration while preserving the mod name, author, description, hash and other editable metadata.
- Added recovery for legacy sprites from an existing or backup
.bmodwhen their originalframes.swfis missing or invalid. - Preserved original source files and modification dates; legacy
frames.swffiles are never re-exported or rewritten. - Mods produced by this version retain the existing
.bmodformat and remain compatible with older Loader versions. - Added first-phase experimental support for hand mods and color mods. This feature is still incomplete and may not work correctly yet.
⚡ Build Performance
- Reworked SWF assembly to add tags in bulk and rebuild FFDec indexes only once instead of once per tag.
- Added constant-time indexes for SWF elements, symbols and generated character IDs.
- Removed repeated global FFDec cache cleanup for every sprite; cleanup now runs once after the complete build.
- Skipped the relinker for visual-only mods and avoided rewriting files when no relink changes are required.
- Added detailed build timings to the terminal and a completion notification showing the total build time.
- Improved memory usage and responsiveness when building mods containing hundreds or thousands of sprites.
🛠️ Fixes
- Fixed false “No sprites detected” errors in old mod sources.
- Fixed repeated “Not found sprite” errors when compiling otherwise valid legacy sources.
- Fixed extremely slow large-mod builds caused by quadratic FFDec tag insertion and repeated global cache clearing.
- Fixed the incorrect “Java Not Found” error in the standalone OneFile executable when 64-bit Java was already installed.
- Fixed builds that could freeze the computer or consume excessive memory on very large sources.
- Fixed unnecessary duplicate mod reloads after a successful build.
- Fixed multiple minor source-cache, metadata and packaging issues.
Requirements
- Windows OS
- Java 64-bit (the app will recommend installation if not found)
