Changes
- Fix mouse/touch selection of grey inventory entries in a unit's Item menu.
Opening the action submenu does not execute an action; disabled commands remain
unavailable and confirmation is still separate. - On Android, drag anywhere on a free battle/world map to pan the camera with
your finger. Releasing a drag does not select a tile. This replaces stationary
edge holds; Windows mouse edge scrolling is unchanged. - Retain list/Guide scrolling, map bounds, scripted/tutorial restrictions,
physical controls and safe cancellation after multitouch or input resets. - Update the README and control documentation.
Downloads And Updates
- Windows x64: download
SacredStonesRecomp-0.1.20-win64.zip, extract it into
a folder and runSacredStonesRecomp.exeat the archive root. - Android ARM64 (Android 9+): install
SacredStonesRecomp-0.1.20-android-arm64.apkover your existing installation.
The production signing key and application ID are unchanged. Do not uninstall
first, since uninstalling can remove application data. - Keep your existing saves and configuration when updating Windows. Back up your
saves before updating on either platform. Save-state compatibility between
platforms or runtime versions is not guaranteed. - Both platforms require your own supported USA ROM and GBA BIOS. Neither is
included. GitHub's automatic source archives are not the playable downloads. - SHA-256 files are provided for both packages.
Validation And Limits
Pointer policy, trusted camera hooks, touch translation, SDL routing, launcher
preferences and save replacement are covered by automated tests. The previous
native Item snapshot test verified item selection, separate Equip confirmation
and the resulting inventory. The current player snapshot has since changed.
Pointer controls remain experimental. This release does not claim a complete
playthrough or fresh three-device validation of Android drag panning. Original
keyboard, virtual-button and controller input remains available.
Built on GBARecomp,
recomp-ui and the
Fire Emblem 8 decompilation,
with the pinned forks and Android patches documented in the repository.
