• The cleanup pass really cleans. Fillers, repetitions and false starts go, sound-alike words get fixed, and what you said stays: nothing is summarised
• Long dictations get more thought. From 40 words up, the cleanup runs at a higher reasoning effort
• A busy day on Groq still gives you clean text. When the main model is rate limited, the cleanup moves to a second model
• Teach it your words. List the names and terms the recognizer mishears in fmt_hints.txt and the cleanup writes them the way you do

• Your dictation is what gets pasted, even with the PC under load. Wavetype checks the clipboard before pressing Ctrl+V, waits for the target window, and gives your previous clipboard back four seconds later
• Edit Mode: Grammar and Slack rewrite. They drop spoken filler and rephrase for the reader; facts, names and numbers stay as you said them

Download Wavetype-Mac.dmg below, drag Wavetype onto Applications and replace the old one. Apple silicon (M1 and newer), macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

• Uninstalling in silent mode (unins000.exe /SILENT, what winget runs) no longer stops on the "also remove your key and settings?" question: it keeps them, the same as answering No.
• The app's version info now says 0.1.1 everywhere.

Wavetype 0.1.0

First release with a Windows installer.

Download Wavetype-Setup.exe below, run it (installs for your user, no admin prompt), paste a free Groq key in the first window, then press Win+Ctrl in any app and talk.

• Clean, punctuated text pasted where your caret is, in any app
• Live words on a card next to your caret while you speak (the streaming model, 475 MB, downloads by itself in the background on first run)
• Edit Mode: select text, press Win+Ctrl, say what to do with it, or press 1 / 2 / 3 for Grammar, English, Slack
• Long dictations arrive whole; every take is saved before it is sent, and Win+Ctrl+R pastes the last one again

The installer is not code-signed yet: if SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
