Coucou 0.5.1 for macOS 15 or later (Apple silicon and Intel).

Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

What's new

  • WhatsApp in one click (macOS, GitHub build) — no more GitHub, zip or Terminal: Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp → Install WhatsApp. Coucou downloads GOWA, the open-source gateway, for your Mac (about 15 MB, once), checks it against the SHA-256 GOWA publishes, starts it, and shows the QR code to scan. It starts and stops with Coucou, and Update fetches GOWA's latest version. Your own gateway (GOWA by hand, OpenWA, another address) moves under Advanced
  • GOWA started by Coucou no longer fetches its own web dashboard from GitHub at each start (Coucou is the interface)

Install

  1. Download Coucou.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Move Coucou.app to your Applications folder, replacing the old one if you have it.
  3. Launch it, and click Open when macOS asks you to confirm.

Linux and Windows: see the README.
