Highlights

• Grep-pattern fix in the published build (commit 8562f48). The production grep path now reads the search pattern from exec.arguments via grepPattern(payload.exec?.arguments) and folds non-matching lines, keeping matches plus context. The tracked lib/ output shipped before this fix, so v1.0.2 did not contain it — v1.0.3 does.
• Fail-open preserved. When no usable pattern is present, foldGrepResult falls back to head/tail truncation exactly as before; results with a non-matching or absent pattern are never dropped.
• The pattern is read only for grep-like tools (grep, rg, ripgrep, grep_search, …) and ignored for all other tools.

• package.json: version 1.0.2 → 1.0.3.
• lib/strategies/tool-result-trim.js: rebuilt from src/ so the published artifact includes the grep-pattern fix (grepPattern helper plus pattern: grepPattern(payload.exec?.arguments) in the grep fold path).
• READMEs, docs/benchmark-results.md, and the promotion drafts: install/release references and benchmark version labels updated to v1.0.3.
• Compatibility and dependency settings are unchanged: DeepSeek Harness 0.2.x (>= 0.2.1-rc.1 < 0.3.0), Node.js >= 22.19.0, and the same peer dependency ranges as v1.0.2.

Documentation

• Benchmark methodology and results: docs/benchmark-methodology.md and docs/benchmark-results.md. The published byte-reduction figures were measured before this release on the same code path and are unchanged; they are byte reductions of synthetic input, not model token counts, token-cost savings, latency, or task-quality evidence. The B-production rows remain historical measurements whose generator is not committed to the repository.
