A related issue here is that there's currently no way to remove a game from the game switcher or recents list, something that would be nice to have.
Using the A button for resume and using the secondary X action to remove the game (from the switcher and maybe also the recents list) would be one option, but without the 'open' function, there'd need to be an alternative way to reset a game (I don't think that function currently exists in the menus when within an emulator?)
Some people might still be used to the A button being bound to "Start game without loading save", X and B are already bound. Add the option to remove a specific recents/switcher entry with Y.
