✨ New Features

  • 🔗 Buttons attach to existing Matter devices: Sync Time buttons now appear directly under your existing Matter devices in Home Assistant, instead of creating separate standalone devices.
  • 🎯 Filter target option: New "Filter target" setting lets you choose which name field(s) the device filter matches against (Any, Display name, HA name only, or Matter product/label).
  • 🌐 Translation support for filter target: The new filter target option is fully translated in English, French, German, and Czech.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • 🧹 Entities removed on filter change: When you remove a device from the filter or change filter settings, the corresponding button entity is now properly removed on reload. Previously, orphaned entities could remain.

🛠️ Improvements

  • 🏗️ Shared filter logic: Device filter matching and candidate resolution are now centralized in coordinator.py and shared between button.py (entity creation) and the auto-sync bulk process, ensuring consistent filtering everywhere.
  • 🔍 Smarter device lookup: Uses the standard Matter device identifier format (deviceid_<FABRIC>-<NODEID>-MatterNodeDevice) with hex matching and regex fallback to reliably find existing Matter devices in the HA device registry.
  • 📋 Config flow version bump: Config flow version bumped to 3 to support the new filter_target option and ensure proper migration.
  • 📦 Version bump: Integration version updated to 2.2.0.
