Module parameters (RC1 highlights)

The complete list per SoC, with types, permissions and defaults, is in the OpenIMP wiki: Module Parameters. This page keeps the parameters that matter for RC1. Parameters are set on the module load line (thingino: /etc/modules.d/*) or, where the permission is 0644, at run time under /sys/module/<module>/parameters/ (module directory tx_isp_<soc>). Do not change bring-up and debug parameters in production.

Parameter SoC Default Meaning
fcrop_upscale_pct T23, T31 (0644) 0 Percentage by which the front-crop geometry check tolerates an MSCA upscale; 0 = none, a too-small window is refused with -EINVAL. T23: upscaling up to 2.0 works, at 2.2 the MSCA stalled briefly and the crop was dropped without a reboot. The file exists only in drivers with the safe front-crop path, so an application can use it as a runtime marker.
msca_scratch T23 (0644) 1 Park a kept MSCA output on a scratch area at STREAMOFF so the hardware never writes into freed buffers; 0 = off (first thing to try if a stop/start hangs).
msca_keep_enabled, chan_stop_keep_input, msca_restart_skip, msca_session_release, msca_flip_skip_noop, chan_stop_drain, qbuf_cache_inv T23 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 21, 1 Stock-like stop/start behaviour of the MSCA and frame channels (the set that ran overnight with many application restarts).
source_af T23 (0444) 1 AF statistics chain as in the stock module; 0 = off. No measurable CPU or interrupt cost.
source_ae_oem T23 (0444) 1 AE lifted from the OEM module.
isp_mmap_pool_kb T10, T20 (0444) 0 Optional V4L2-MMAP frame pool in KiB; OpenIMP uses USERPTR buffers from rmem and does not need it.
qbuf_guard T20, T21, T23, T31, T41 (0644) 1 Reject QBUF buffers outside the rmem window.
t41_msca_cfg_update T41 (0644) 0 Opt-in, experimental. 0 never latches the MSCA output geometry (reset geometry); 2 latches with the output off (use with t41_msca_stop_disable=1), correct up to a channel 1 of 768x432; 1 latches after enable (the output-restart hang returns after a few cycles).
t41_msca_stop_disable T41 (0644) 0 Opt-in, experimental. 1 switches a stopped MSCA output off and waits for its frame (stock behaviour).
t41_msca_latch_timeout_ms T41 (0644) 300 Wait for the geometry latch; counters msca_latch_timeouts etc. are read-only.

T10/T20: there is no parameter for the isp-m0 gain cap; /proc/jz/isp/isp-m0 ("MAX SENSOR analog gain") reports the value the AE really reaches.

Added after RC1 (next, not released)

Parameter SoC Default Meaning
fcrop_upscale_pct T23, T31 0 Now clamped to 100 (2.0x): 150 % hard-hung a T31.
msca_flip_state T23, T31 (0444) - Read-only bit mask of who flips each axis (1 sensor_h, 2 sensor_v, 4 isp_h, 8 isp_v).
t23_runtime_trace, t40_runtime_trace, t41_runtime_trace T23, T40, T41 0 1 logs the bring-up and progress notes that are silent by default (non-zero ret=/fail= notes are always logged). The T40 one is writable at run time.
t41_wdr_fusion_unsafe T41 0 The unrecovered WDR fusion body is refused unless set to 1 (it writes past the module data).
t41_proc_watch T41 1 Report-only watcher for the /proc/jz/isp entries; counters proc_watch_hits / proc_watch_rb_hits.
t41_msca_enable_at_frame T41 0 Diagnostic with t41_msca_cfg_update=2: enable a latched output at the next ch0 frame-done instead of mid-frame.
